ADR Center at Private Commercial Mediation Conclave 2016 – INDIA

ADR Center CEO, Leonardo D’ Urso traveled to Bangalore, India last week in order to participate in a mediation conclave and to lead a study tour for the director and staff of the Afghanistan Centre for Dispute Resolution (ACDR). A conclave on private commercial mediation hosted by the Centre for Advanced Mediation Practice (C.A.M.P.) was held on February 12, 2016 at the ITC Windsor in Bangalore. Leonardo spoke on the Italian Mediation Model and the necessity of legislative support for mediation. The full schedule and details can be found at http://privatemediationconclave.com/index.html. In addition, Leonardo led a three-day study tour for the ACDR staff, the tour included visits to C.A.M.P, the Bangalore Mediation Center (a court-annexed mediation program), and the Bangalore International Mediation and Arbitration Centre. The purpose of the study tour is to expose the ACDR staff to the best practices of other mediation centers.
